Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public access to a good deal of warrant information, but the hard part is working out which office holds the piece you need. A warrant is not kept in one place. The district court that issues it sets the charge and the bond. The sheriff's office is the agency that serves it and can say whether it is still outstanding. A missed court date can produce a bench warrant in the same case file. Minnesota has no public statewide warrant portal, so the state layer is a case search rather than a name check.
That structure trips people up. Someone checks one office, finds nothing, and concludes there is no warrant. In Brown County the case may simply sit with the district court in New Ulm, or the law enforcement index may still be confidential because the warrant was never served. We pulled the contact details, portals, case-number formats, and request steps for each of those offices into one place so a reader can start in the right spot.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, sheriff's office, or state agency, and we hold no warrant records of our own. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm that a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or listing on this site is current today
Only the court that issued the warrant or the law enforcement office that holds it can confirm whether it exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site carry search boxes that are powered by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services, and their results are not an official warrant check. If a search leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue keeps this site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain.
